INPS hiring plan PIAO public competition 7,635 positions

The Istituto Nazionale della Previdenza Sociale (INPS) has updated its three‑year Personnel Needs Plan (PIAO) for 2026‑2028 with Deliberation No. 64 dated 29 April 2026. The revised plan adds 7,635 new positions, raising the institute’s total workforce from 24,503 employees at the end of 2025 to 32,008 by the end of 2028.

Recruitment will be carried out through public competitions open to graduates and diploma holders, with the next sets of notices to be published by 30 June 2026. A specific pre‑selection exam, Concorso 1695, has been announced for PECS officials.

The hiring breakdown includes about 3,360 posts from the new budget, 4,009 from already authorised budget, 996 from DPCM adjustments, 2,485 ex lege and 145 from the 2026 budget, all enabled by article 4, paragraph 11‑ter of D.Lgs. 200/2025 (converted by Law 26/2026).
