IFSP launches Asas para o Futuro proposal call with up to R$472 k funding
The Federal Institute of São Paulo (IFSP) issued Edital № 131/2026 to choose an institutional proposal for the CNPq‑Women’s “Asas para o Futuro” program. Selected projects may receive up to R$ 472 000 for equipment, operating costs and scholarships for women in vulnerable situations studying STEM fields. Submissions must be sent by email by 30 July 2026; the internal selection results will be announced on 4 August, with the final decision on 6 August. The approved proposal must be forwarded to CNPq by 10 August. Evaluation criteria include the campus’s STEM research capacity, institutional execution potential and outreach plans. The program, coordinated by IFSP’s research, innovation and extension offices, aims to increase female participation in science and technology and reduce gender, race and territorial inequalities.
