Instituto General Güemes holds traditional religious procession in Salta

The Instituto General Güemes in Salta held its annual “Milagrito Güemesiano” procession, a traditional event where the educational community renews its commitment to the Señor and la Virgen del Milagro.

The ceremony included a Holy Mass officiated by Father Pedro Ríos, followed by an eight-block procession through the neighborhood. The images were carried by fifth-year students from the “BLESSED” 2026 class, accompanied by students from primary, secondary, and initial levels, as well as faculty, staff, and families.

Upon the procession's return, students from the initial level welcomed the images with handkerchiefs. The institution noted that the event serves to strengthen the community's identity and transmit core values through faith and solidarity.
