Inter Milan evaluates Stankovic's future and Calhanoglu's renewal

Inter Milan is currently managing two significant personnel matters regarding their midfield. The club is evaluating the future of Aleksandar Stankovic, who joined from Club Brugge in a 23 million euro deal this summer. Despite his ambition to stay and compete for a spot, Stankovic has seen limited playing time, totaling only 15 minutes across two appearances. While no decision has been made, the club may consider a loan move in January if his minutes do not increase under manager Cristian Chivu.

Simultaneously, negotiations are ongoing regarding a contract renewal for Hakan Calhanoglu. While both the player and the club express a desire to continue their partnership, a significant gap remains between the economic demands of the player and the club's current offer. The club is also factoring Calhanoglu's recent muscular issues into their long-term planning during these discussions.
