Interior design trends forecast natural colors for 2027

Interior designers have identified key color trends projected to dominate home decor in 2027. Natural and calming tones are expected to be prominent, with various shades of green being highlighted as timeless choices.

Major paint companies have announced their upcoming color focuses. Behr has selected ‘grounded’, an olive green shade with brown undertones, described as earthy and practical. Sherwin-Williams has introduced ‘jecelery’, a subtle yellow-green, while other designers suggest deep sapphire blues, fuchsia for high-energy spaces, and warm tones like white truffle or citrine-inspired yellows to add warmth to interiors.
