International Falcon Auction sees 201,000 SAR in sales

The International Falcon Production Farms Auction 2026, organized by the National Falcons Center in Malham, north of Riyadh, continues to draw international participants and high-value sales. During the second night of the auction, two Gyr Peregrine falcon chicks produced by German and British farms were sold for a total of 201,000 Saudi Riyals.

The first falcon, from the German farm "BF3 Falcons," sold for 100,000 SAR, while the second, from the British farm "Sky Falcons," sold for 101,000 SAR. Each falcon was provided with a detailed identification card including breed, age, origin, weight, and measurements to assist buyers.

French farm owner Philippe Hertel described the event as a global economic and social hub that connects producers and falconers from around the world. He noted that the auction's organized environment fosters professional relationships and provides significant marketing opportunities for international farms. The auction is scheduled to run until August 25.
