International Falcon Breeding Farms Auction 2026 opens in Saudi Arabia

The International Falcon Breeding Farms Auction 2026, organized by the National Falcons Center in Malham, north of Riyadh, has seen significant activity. An Spanish falcon breeding farm successfully sold its entire stock of 32 falcons on the first day of the event, highlighting strong international demand and the auction's growing reputation as a professional global marketplace.

During the event, a workshop was held to outline the licensing mechanisms for falcon breeding centers within Saudi Arabia. Engineer Mohammed Al-Muqrin, Director of Licenses and Permits at the National Center for Wildlife, detailed the regulatory framework focused on responsible breeding, species conservation, and genetic diversity.

Applicants for breeding center licenses must provide seven key documents, including a project plan, environmental impact assessment, and proof of land ownership. The process is managed electronically via the ‘Fatri’ platform. The platform has issued over 531,000 licenses and permits to more than 135,000 users, maintaining a 92.2% beneficiary satisfaction rate and an average processing time of 4.5 working days.
