International Falcon Production Farms Auction held in Riyadh

The International Falcon Production Farms Auction is currently being held at the National Falcons Center in Malham, north of Riyadh. The event showcases a wide variety of falcon species, including Gyr, Peregrine, Saker, and various hybrids, catering to different falconry needs such as racing and beauty competitions.

Participants from local and international farms are presenting diverse breeding methodologies. International entries include Portuguese farms utilizing ‘Wild Hacking’ techniques in high-wind environments, as well as breeding lines from Canada, Finland, and Scotland. Local producers are also showcasing specialized lines developed to compete with international standards.

The auction serves as a platform for falconers to evaluate specific traits such as size, color, speed, and lineage. The event is open to visitors until August 25.
