International law faces scrutiny amid U.S. actions in Iran

The relationship between the United States and international legal institutions is facing significant tension. Legal scholars have noted that the U.S. and Israel initiated a war against Iran that critics argue violates Article 2 of the UN Charter regarding the use of force.
