Interpol red notice suspect captured in Amasya

Turkish gendarmerie teams captured H. B., a German citizen of Turkish origin, in the Merzifon district of Amasya. The individual was wanted internationally via an Interpol red notice.

German judicial authorities had initiated proceedings against H. B. for the crime of attempted murder. Following the operation conducted by the Amasya Provincial Gendarmerie Crime Research Team (JASAT) and the Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime (KOM) Department, the suspect was transferred to the Ankara Removal Center to begin extradition processes to Germany.

The Amasya Governor's Office issued a statement affirming their commitment to combating national and international organized crime and delivering wanted individuals to justice to ensure public safety.
