INTI 2026 exhibition showcases waste-to-fuel technology in Jakarta

The Indonesia Technology & Innovation (INTI) 2026 exhibition is currently taking place at JIExpo Kemayoran in Jakarta, featuring 952 exhibitors from eight countries. The event aims to strengthen Indonesia's digital ecosystem through collaboration between industry players, government, and investors.

During the exhibition, PT Asiana Technologies introduced a waste-to-fuel innovation designed to convert urban and landfill waste into Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF). CEO and inventor Poltak Sitinjak stated that the resulting RDF has a calorific value exceeding 3,500 kcal/kg. This technology is intended to serve as an alternative energy source that can be used alongside coal through co-firing methods in industrial facilities, specifically tailored to the characteristics of waste in Indonesia.
