Investigation into Colombian designer Natalia Villalba adds personal details

Friends of the late Natalia Villalba, a Colombian graphic designer and entrepreneur, told authorities that she supported her education and projects by working as a driver for digital platforms, a model, a promoter and a spa employee.

One friend said Villalba met a U.S. citizen while traveling in Mexico and that their friendship later became a romantic relationship in which he helped finance some of her ventures. Another witness mentioned a British citizen who had visited Colombia previously and had been in a relationship with Villalba for some time.

A close confidante asked for respect for Villalba’s memory and family and warned against unverified speculation on social media. Colombian investigators continue to gather evidence and determine any responsibilities arising from the case.
