The investigation follows allegations regarding Ranucci's role as a suspected solicitor in an attack and his relationship with Cianfoni, who is currently at Fincantieri.

The media company involved is conducting an internal audit, led by Delia Gandini, to review rules regarding external funding and sources. This process includes hearings with Ranucci and director Paolo Corsini. A final report will be submitted to CEO Giampaolo Rossi, who is expected to decide on potential personnel changes by the end of August.
