Inzegane police arrest three suspects in minor's sexual assault case
Police in Inzegane, in coordination with the General Directorate for Territorial Surveillance, have arrested three individuals suspected of luring, drugging, and sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl.
The investigation began after the victim's mother reported her missing. The girl was later found in a heavily sedated state on a public street in Ait Melloul by her sister and three other individuals. She was subsequently transported to a hospital for medical treatment and examinations.
Technical expertise and investigations suggest the three suspects, who initially claimed to have found the girl, allegedly lured her into a rented car and drove her through various streets before taking her to an isolated area in the rural district of El Gualia, near Ait Melloul. It is suspected that the victim was provided with narcotics before being sexually assaulted by one of the suspects. The three individuals are currently in custody pending further judicial investigation.
