Ion Aramendi may host Telecinco’s new “El Rosco” game show

Mediaset España is preparing a new game show for Telecinco that will feature the iconic “El Rosco” final round, originally part of the long‑running quiz "Pasapalabra". After the Spanish Supreme Court ruled that the final round belongs to the MC&F rights holder and forced Antena 3 to drop it, Mediaset announced plans to revive the format on its own channel. In an interview, presenter Ion Aramendi said he would be “the happiest man in the world” if offered the hosting role, while also indicating he is ready for other projects if the show does not materialise.

The move is part of Telecinco’s broader summer strategy to refresh its programming slate and attract viewers with familiar contest elements.
