Panagiotis Monemvasiotis, the owner of Iraklis FC, met with head coach Walter Mazzarri to resolve recent tensions following the team's 0-0 draw against Aris. The meeting addressed disagreements regarding summer transfer decisions, which Mazzarri had previously criticized for being made without his input.

Monemvasiotis defended the club's strategy, explaining that a larger roster was necessary to avoid the risk of immediate relegation after being promoted from the second division.
