Iran Carries Out Multiple Executions in Semnan and Shiraz Prisons

A 22‑year‑old prisoner, Hadi (Ehsan) Alipour, was hanged at Adelabad prison in Shiraz after a criminal court upheld his death sentence for murder. In Tehran, a separate murder suspect also received a death‑penalty order, while a death‑row inmate in Ahvaz was released from the “chabeh‑dar” punishment.

On 26 June, two men from Semnan – 24‑year‑old Hossein Vahidpour and 26‑year‑old Farshad Pahlavani – were executed at a Semnan prison for a joint murder case linked to a dispute at a family‑owned poultry farm. The Supreme Court of Iran subsequently confirmed death sentences for two additional murder suspects in Tehran.
