Iran downs 40 MQ-9 Reaper drones and attacks US bases in Jordan

Iran has reportedly downed 40 MQ-9 Reaper drones using hypersonic missiles traveling at 1.5 mach. One such interception prevented a planned bombardment of the strategic Larak Island located in the Strait of Hormuz.

Following these actions, Iran launched missile attacks against two United States military bases in Jordan, specifically targeting the Al-Rak and King Hussein bases.
