Iran enhances disaster preparedness amid widespread weather warnings
Authorities in Iran are intensifying disaster preparedness measures amid forecasts of widespread weather instability. In Markazi Province, Seyed Morteza Miri, Director General of Crisis Management, emphasized the necessity of mobilizing executive agencies to establish emergency camps in Saveh. Miri stressed that operational machinery, such as graders and loaders, must undergo continuous technical inspections to ensure readiness for potential incidents.
Simultaneously, the National Center for Prediction and Management of Weather Hazards has issued warnings regarding upcoming weather patterns. Scattered rainfall is expected across various regions, with intensified precipitation forecasted for the northern provinces of Qazvin, Alborz, and Tehran starting Saturday. Other areas, including parts of the southeast and the Caspian Sea coast, may experience thunderstorms, strong winds, and dust storms. The forecast also indicates potential wind and temperature drops in northwestern and northeastern regions over the coming days.
