Iran faces disputed US nuclear negotiation claims and Israeli war minister’s Tehran strike preparations

U.S. official JD Vance told a radio program that the United States is engaged in technical talks with Iran aimed at a verifiable peace agreement that would require Iran to fully abandon its nuclear program. Iran’s foreign ministry spokesperson immediately rejected the allegation, stating that no negotiations are taking place at any level.

Separately, Israel’s war minister said the Israeli Defence Forces are preparing a limited “Blue and White” operation against Tehran, with a specific bank identified as a target. He warned that any Iranian attack on Israel would trigger a broader conflict and that Israel stands ready to respond with U.S. defensive support.
