US B‑1B bomber takes off from UK base to strike Iranian targets

The United States has launched a B‑1B Lancer strategic bomber from RAF Fairford in the United Kingdom to attack facilities of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. The deployment marks the first use of a US B‑1 from a British mainland base, approved by new UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham.
