Iran Food and Drug Administration orders recall of two unauthorized products

The Food and Drug Administration has issued an immediate recall order for FAT FAST tablets and Hemostasis powder due to safety concerns and regulatory violations.

Reports of serious side effects following the consumption of FAT FAST tablets prompted the action. The FDA noted that all batches of the tablets are subject to the recall because they lack valid authorization and make unauthorized therapeutic claims.

Additionally, Hemostasis powder produced by Aria Teb Nik Seresht Toos must be removed from the market. The recall for this product is due to its distribution without valid permits, a lack of authenticity labeling, and the fraudulent use of the name of the company Mazd Yasna Sam Noosh Daru as its manufacturing site.

University food and drug departments, as well as managers of food and drug authorities in free trade and industrial zones, have been instructed to execute the immediate collection of these products and submit documented results to the administration.
