Iran government working hours to change after September 6

Zabihollah Salmani, Deputy of Human Capital at the Administrative and Recruitment Organization, announced that current government working hours, set from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM, will remain in effect until September 6 (15 Shahrivar). New working hours will be announced after this date based on the specific needs and requests of various executive agencies.

Salmani also addressed the status of corporate employees in the public sector. He noted that previous plans to convert corporate staff to permanent positions faced obstacles, including concerns from the Expediency Discernment Council regarding the financial burden on the government and conflicts with the Seventh Development Plan, which mandates a 15% reduction in government structure.

To address concerns regarding delayed wages and insurance issues faced by corporate workers, the government has prioritized ensuring timely payments. Additionally, a government resolution allows corporate employees to receive up to four points of seniority credit in employment exams to assist their transition.
