Iran industrial commodities market sees aluminum and zinc offerings

The Iran Mercantile Exchange industrial hall has scheduled significant offerings of aluminum and zinc ingots for September 13, 2026. Almahdi Aluminum plans to supply various quantities of 1000_P99 ingots through both cash and credit transactions. Other major participants include Iran Alumina, which will offer 300 tons of ingots, and the South Aluminum Complex, which has scheduled 4,200 tons of ingots for sale.

In the zinc sector, Isfahan Zinc Smelter, Zob Roy Bafq, and Iran Mineral Processing are set to offer various quantities of zinc ingots. Additionally, Sepahan Roller Maker has scheduled 3,000 tons of bloom ingots for credit sale.

Separately, Iran Aluminum Company (Fayra) reported mixed financial results for August 2026. While the company saw a 111 percent increase in total revenue, reaching 5,711 billion tomans, this growth was driven by price inflation rather than increased activity. The company experienced a 13 percent decline in total production, dropping to 11,639 tons, and a 20 percent decrease in total sales volume compared to the previous year.
