Iran: Judicial inspections in Fars and various labor protests
In Iran, judicial and labor-related activities have drawn attention in several regions. Seyyed Sadrallah Rajaee-Nasab, the head of the Fars Judiciary, conducted an inspection of judicial branches in Sepidan. He emphasized the role of dispute resolution councils in the enforcement stage to encourage peace and reconciliation, noting that such measures could reduce prison populations and prevent additional costs for parties involved in financial or family disputes.
Simultaneously, various labor protests have emerged. In Kermanshah, nurses and medical staff held a demonstration in front of Talegani University of Medical Sciences to demand unpaid overtime wages that have been outstanding for approximately one year.
In other locations, labor activist Esmail Bakhshi began a sit-in at the entrance of the Haft Tappeh Sugarcane Company, demanding his reinstatement after years of unsuccessful legal efforts. Additionally, workers from the Mahvar Gostar Nasr company in Sirjan protested against a decision to relocate their workplace to projects in Mehran or Jask.
