Iran Minister announces Konkur results date and in-person university return

Iran’s Minister of Science, Research and Technology, Hossein Simayi Saraf, announced that the results of the national university entrance exam (Konkur) will be released in the second half of Aban (late October/early November).

Due to the timing of the results, new students will not be able to begin their studies in Mehr (late September/early October) and will face a delayed start to the academic year. Despite previous delays caused by wartime conditions, the Minister confirmed that universities will conduct classes in person during the upcoming academic year.

Speaking in Semnan, the Minister also noted that 14 economic, civil, educational, and university projects, representing an investment of over 30 trillion tomans, are being implemented in the province as part of government development efforts.
