Iran President Pezeshkian backs peace MoU with United States

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated that the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between Iran and the United States is in the best interest of Iran, West Asia, and the global community. Speaking at a ceremony in Tehran, Pezeshkian asserted that the implementation of this agreement would prevent the United States and Israel from creating chaos, aggression, and insecurity in the region, thereby allowing regional nations to pursue stability and development.

Pezeshkian emphasized the importance of unity among Muslim nations to counter perceived conspiracies. While stating that Iran does not seek war, he maintained that the country would stand firmly against any aggressor.

In related developments, Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi warned of efforts to manipulate global energy markets and prolong conflict with the United States. Additionally, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) reported an operation in Sistan and Baluchestan province against a group linked to the US and Israel, resulting in one death and six arrests.
