Iran reintegrates 48,000 students into primary education
Iran's Ministry of Education has successfully reintegrated approximately 48,000 students who had previously dropped out of the primary education system. This initiative follows a period where 140,000 students were identified as being out of school.
To prevent future dropouts, the ministry is monitoring enrollment status through SMS notifications sent to families of students with registered national IDs who have not yet enrolled. Officials stated that reducing learning poverty and ensuring school attendance is a priority for provincial and county governors, aligned with presidential directives emphasizing education as a fundamental right for every child.
