Iran steel rebar and I-beam market shows price stability
The Iranian steel market for rebar and I-beams has experienced a period of relative stability characterized by low activity and cautious buyer behavior. Despite inflationary expectations driven by political tensions and high energy costs for producers, a lack of real demand has prevented significant price shifts.
In the rebar market, prices for various brands remained largely stagnant or saw minor fluctuations. For instance, Nishapur 16mm A3 rebar was priced at 108,180 Tomans, while Aryan Steel 18mm A3 rebar traded at 117,730 Tomans. Other products like Qaem-Razi 12mm and Kaveh Tikme Dash 10mm rebar also showed limited movement.
The I-beam market similarly reported a calm atmosphere with no significant volatility. Isfahan Steel 16mm I-beams were traded in the range of 138,180 Tomans, and Zafar-e Nab 14mm I-beams were priced at 117,363 Tomans. Analysts suggest the market is currently in a waiting phase, requiring new drivers to initiate a clear upward or downward trend.
