Iran says it will keep Strait of Hormuz closed and is ready for renewed conflict
Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Kazım Garibabadi told state television that Tehran will not accept any formula other than its own for the Strait of Hormuz. Iran proposes that one navigation route be wholly under Iranian control and the other be partially controlled. He warned that if Oman does not accept this proposal, the strait will remain closed and Iran is ready for the war to restart.
