Iran Traffic Police to launch car trading platform
Iran's FARAJA Traffic Police is launching a new digital platform called the ‘Car Trading Platform’ to protect buyers from fraud. The system is designed to provide verified data to ensure vehicles are not stolen, smuggled, or subject to tampered chassis, engine, or body numbers.
In addition to passenger vehicles, authorities plan to establish a technical inspection center for heavy vehicles and trucks, with the first facility to be located in Tehran Truck Town. This center will provide expert technical assessments during the buying and selling process.
Furthermore, the police are initiating a ‘Motorcycle Re-registration’ project. The first phase involves a self-declaration system where motorcycle owners can register and update their ownership details and documentation to ensure accurate records.
