Iran university registration deadline for academic-record-only applicants expires tonight

The deadline for university registration and field selection based solely on academic records for the October 2026 (1405 SH) academic term expires tonight, October 18 (26 Mehr). This follows two previous extensions.

Applicants with theoretical diplomas are evaluated based on their written GPA, while those with technical or vocational diplomas are assessed using their overall GPA. Students can select up to 150 specific field codes.

Those who previously registered for the 1405 national entrance exam but were absent do not need to re-register; they can select non-exam fields through the comprehensive national exam system. However, the Sanjesh Organization warns that if a student completes field selection for the national exam and then attempts to register again for the academic-record-only process, their registration for the academic-record-only track will be invalidated.
