Iran-U.S. Ceasefire Ends as Trump Announces 1,000 Missiles Targeted at Iran

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said Tehran has complied with all obligations under the memorandum of understanding with the United States, accusing the U.S. Treasury Department of breaching paragraph 9, which bars additional U.S. forces in the region. President Donald Trump announced that the cease‑fire between the United States and Iran has ended, while confirming that negotiations will resume after Iran’s request.

Trump also warned on Truth Social that "about 1,000 missiles have been aimed at Iran and thousands more are ready," saying the U.S. military is prepared to launch a large‑scale response if Tehran carries out any threats. Meanwhile, recent air strikes over the past three to four nights have hit Iranian ports and cities such as Qeshm, Sirik, Jask, Bandar Abbas, Kangan, and Chabahar, targeting both military and commercial sites. Iranian officials say they are ready to retaliate and remain open to diplomatic engagement.
