Iran weather alerts: Strong winds and dust storms forecast for Tehran and Isfahan
Meteorological authorities in Iran have issued several weather warnings across various provinces, focusing on strong winds, dust storms, and localized precipitation.
In Tehran, a yellow alert has been issued due to expected strong winds in central, western, and southern regions. This weather pattern may cause falling objects, damage to temporary structures like scaffolding, and reduced visibility due to dust. Residents are advised to exercise caution during travel and avoid high altitudes.
In Isfahan, temperatures are expected to remain stable, with the hottest point being Khor and Biabank at 37 degrees Celsius. Forecasters warn of relatively strong winds during the evening and night, particularly in northern and eastern areas, which may be accompanied by temporary dust storms.
Nationwide, the National Center for Weather Forecasting and Hazard Management reports continued rainfall and thunderstorms in northern and southern parts of the country. While some provinces like West Azerbaijan, Gilan, and Mazandaran may experience precipitation, a dry period is expected for much of the country on Tuesday and Wednesday. Ahvaz is projected to be among the warmest cities with temperatures reaching 45 degrees Celsius.
