Iran weather alerts: Rain, thunderstorms, and dust storms forecasted

Meteorological reports for Iran indicate widespread weather instability across several regions. Rain showers accompanied by thunderstorms and temporary strong winds are expected in northern provinces, including Gilan, Mazandaran, and Golestan, as well as in the highlands of Tehran, Alborz, and Semnan.

In the southern and southeastern parts of the country, including Hormozgan, Kerman, Sistan and Baluchestan, and parts of Fars, afternoon and evening rain showers are forecasted. Yellow level warnings have been issued for several provinces due to the potential for heavy winds, dust storms, and reduced air quality.

Dust storms and strong winds are particularly expected in eastern and central regions, including Khorasan provinces, Yazd, Isfahan, and Qom. In Qom, wind speeds may reach between 45 to 65 km/h, potentially impacting visibility. While some areas will experience a relative decrease in temperature, others may see slight increases or remain under high-temperature conditions.
