Its performance is said to fall short of more sporty rivals, and the engine’s sensitivity to fuel quality adds to owners’ maintenance concerns.

At the same time, Iran’s automotive market remains unstable. Industry officials cite daily exchange‑rate fluctuations and rumors of gasoline price hikes as key drivers of price volatility for both electric and conventional vehicles. Dealers report that these factors cause rapid price swings, prompting buyers and sellers to act cautiously and await market stabilization. The combined effect of currency swings and speculative news has prevented a clear downward trend in car prices, keeping the market in a state of flux.
