Iranian Judiciary prioritizes judicial independence and industrial support

Iranian judicial officials have outlined several priorities focusing on institutional independence, economic support, and administrative efficiency. Mohammad Movahedi-Azad, the country's Prosecutor General, emphasized that strengthening the position of prosecutors and maintaining judicial independence are key priorities for the judiciary.

In North Khorasan, Prosecutor Seyyed Javad Ilali stated that preventing the shutdown of manufacturing units due to water shortages or administrative bureaucracy is a priority. He called for the expedited clearance of raw materials from customs to prevent production halts and workforce reductions.

In Yazd, Hojatoleslam Hossein Tahmasebi discussed improving the productivity of the forensic medicine department. He suggested that increasing efficiency and optimizing resource management could allow for better compensation and benefits for medical staff, rather than simply increasing headcount.
