Iranian officials visit families of deceased scientists and service members

During Government Week in Iran, several high-ranking officials conducted visits to the families of deceased individuals honored as martyrs.

Mohammad Eslami, Vice President and Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, visited the family of Fereydoun Abbasi, a prominent nuclear scientist and former head of the Atomic Energy Organization. Eslami praised Abbasi’s scientific contributions and his role in advancing the country’s nuclear industry and technological independence.

In Khuzestan, Shina Ansari, Vice President and Head of the Department of Environment, met with the family of Hadi Ostad. Ostad was a cultural and artistic deputy of the Basij in Khuzestan who was killed during a mission to assist the wounded. Ansari emphasized the importance of honoring those who sacrificed for national security while conducting a two-day trip to the province to oversee environmental projects.
