Iran President Pezeshkian declares full-scale economic and military war FAST-MOVING

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has declared that Iran is currently engaged in a 'full-scale economic, military, and security war' in response to threats of severe sanctions from U.S. President Donald Trump. Speaking during 'Government Week' at the tomb of Ayatollah Khomeini, Pezeshkian rejected comparisons between Iran and Venezuela, asserting that the country has not collapsed but has instead grown stronger through resistance and unity.

Pezeshkian acknowledged the significant economic hardships facing Iranian society, including inflation and unemployment, but emphasized that the government remains committed to serving the people. He noted that the current state of 'neither war nor peace' is detrimental to the economy and hinders capital flow.

Regarding international relations, the President defended a recent memorandum of understanding with the United States, stating it contains no clauses requiring concessions from Iran and was drafted based on national interest and wisdom. However, he noted that negotiations toward a final agreement have stalled due to disputes over the implementation of the memorandum and navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.
