Iranian Rial devalues significantly against US Dollar and Pakistani Rupee

The Iranian Rial has experienced a significant devaluation against major global currencies, including the US Dollar and the Pakistani Rupee. In the open market, the US Dollar has exceeded 2.3 million Rial, while the black market rate has reached between 2.28 million and 2.31 million Rial.

Data from the Central Bank of Iran indicates that 42 out of 45 monitored currencies have strengthened against the Rial. Currently, 100 Pakistani Rupees are equivalent to approximately 585,842 Iranian Rials. Despite the volatility, there remains a demand for the Iranian currency in Pakistan's open market, as some citizens purchase Rial in hopes of profiting from potential future value increases.

In the Pakistani market, a packet of 10 million Iranian Rials is currently trading for between 5,000 and 6,000 Pakistani Rupees, a decrease from the 8,000 to 10,000 Rupee range seen in April.
