Iran's Mohsen Rezaee warns of war over Strait of Hormuz and Beirut
Major General Mohsen Rezaee, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, has issued warnings to the United States and Israel regarding the blockade in the Strait of Hormuz. Rezaee stated that if the blockade continues or if new attacks are launched by the U.S. or Israel, it will be considered a declaration of war with severe consequences.
In an interview with Al-Manar, Rezaee identified Beirut and Dahieh as Iranian ‘red lines,’ warning that any future Israeli attacks in these areas would be treated as an act of war. He asserted that Israel must be forced to withdraw from occupied areas in Lebanon and that Iran is preparing for a new era of conflict.
Rezaee also directed personal threats toward Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, claiming that Netanyahu’s actions are bringing the end of the Zionist regime closer. Additionally, he accused the Israeli Prime Minister of spreading misinformation regarding Iranian conspiracies to influence U.S. leadership and damage Iran’s international image.
