Iran's Social Insurance Organization to issue pension salary orders by mid‑June
The head of Iran's Social Insurance Organization, Mustafa Salari, announced that new pension wage orders will be released by 15 Khordad (mid‑June). The orders will incorporate the annual increase, adjust the housing allowance and other benefits, and are expected to be uploaded to the system promptly.
Retirees have been protesting a two‑month delay in salary adjustments amid soaring inflation, which has eroded their purchasing power. They demand clear information on the exact amount of the increases and a schedule for paying the arrears of the months of Farvardin and Ordibehesht. The organization has begun technical preparations and is cooperating with the Supreme Council of Retirees to finalize the framework.
If the promised timeline is met, pension payments for Khordad (June) should reflect the new amounts, while the timing of the back‑pay remains pending.
