In his address, he emphasized the responsibility of students and scholars to equip themselves with science, piety, ethics, and skill to overcome ignorance and contribute to the advancement of the Islamic Republic of Iran. He urged students to view educational institutions as their second home and to protect their sanctity while enhancing their awareness and conduct.
