Iran‑US Hostilities Surge as Ninth Consecutive Night of US Bombings Hits Iranian Territory

The United States carried out a ninth consecutive night of air strikes against targets in central and eastern Iran, including areas near the Bushehr nuclear power plant and the under‑construction Darkhovin complex. Iranian officials reported at least one civilian death and multiple injuries in Tabriz.

Iranian President Masud Pezeshkian described the situation as a "total war" and Tehran responded with attacks on U.S. allies Bahrain and Kuwait, while Houthi forces backed by Iran threatened Saudi ports. Diplomatic channels involving Qatar, Oman and Pakistan remain reported as open.

Russian analysts warned that continued escalation could lead the United States to consider tactical nuclear options, labeling the current stage as a potential "Phase 3" of the Middle‑East conflict.
