Irapuato launches youth digital safety forum and hosts national Taekwondo championship

The municipal government of Irapuato, Guanajuato, organized a digital‑safety forum called “Eres lo que publicas” to educate school‑age children about responsible use of social media and protecting their online footprints. The event was led by DIF Irapuato director Valeria Alfaro García and highlighted the city’s commitment to safe digital citizenship.

Later in July, Irapuato will host the 2026 National Children and Cadets Taekwondo Championship at the Inforum Irapuato. The competition, approved by the Mexican Taekwondo Federation, is expected to draw hundreds of athletes and families from across the country, promote sports tourism and generate economic benefits for local hotels, restaurants and services.
