Irapuato to host inaugural wine and gastronomy festival

Irapuato will host its first “De Vino en Vino” enogastronomic festival on Saturday, August 29, at the Inforum Irapuato Velaria. The event aims to strengthen local economic development, promote tourism, and showcase the region's gastronomic and cultural identity.

The festival will feature more than 12 wineries from Guanajuato, presenting over 35 different wine labels. For an entry fee of 650 pesos, attendees will receive a commemorative thermos, wine tastings, local culinary samples, regional crafts, and live musical performances including mariachi and flamenco.

Local authorities, including representatives from the Economy and Tourism department, noted that the event aligns with strategic plans to consolidate the Inforum as a key venue for attracting visitors and boosting municipal economic activity.
