IRGC Commander honors medical professionals on Doctor's and Pharmacist's Day

Major General Ahmad Vahidi, Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, issued a message to honor medical professionals and pharmacists on the occasion of Doctor's Day and Pharmacist Day.

The message commemorated the birthdays of the renowned Iranian physician Avicenna and the scientist Rhazes. Vahidi praised the medical community for their service, specifically highlighting the role of healthcare workers within the IRGC. He noted their contributions during the COVID-19 pandemic and their efforts in treating wounded personnel during recent conflicts.

Vahidi also honored the memory of 26 medical personnel from the IRGC who were martyred during recent operations, describing their sacrifice as a link between faith, expertise, and selflessness.
