IRGC official warns of psychological warfare in Khuzestan

Mousa Pouladi, the representative of the Vali-e-Faqih in the Khuzestan province of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), addressed media representatives in Ahvaz regarding the importance of accurate storytelling in modern conflict.

Pouladi stated that victory in warfare is increasingly determined by precise and honest reporting rather than just military equipment. He warned that the United States and Zionism have developed extensive structures for psychological operations and hybrid warfare, using false news to manipulate public opinion after facing direct military setbacks.

He emphasized that while the Iranian armed forces are capable of neutralizing these psychological tactics through missile and drone operations, domestic media must play a more effective role in enlightening the public. He called for constructive criticism, honest information sharing, and monitoring of the press to protect public opinion from rumors and misinformation.
