IRONMAN announces first 20 qualifying races for 2027 Kona World Championship

IRONMAN has released the first 20 qualifying events for the 2027 World Championship in Kona. These full-distance races are scheduled to take place between August 22 and December 6, 2026.

The initial list of qualifying races includes events in Estonia, France, Japan, the United Kingdom, the United States, Italy, Spain, South Korea, Portugal, Australia, and Argentina. Each event offers between 45 and 100 qualifying slots for the championship. The organization noted that this list will expand in the coming months as more 2027 races are added to the official calendar.
