Isabela Araujo Rada debuts Barranquilla Carnival-inspired fashion in Madrid
Colombian fashion designer Isabela Araujo Rada debuted her collection in Madrid, drawing inspiration from the Barranquilla Carnival. The 21-year-old student at UDIT presented three distinct looks as part of the ‘Relato’ collection.
The designs incorporate elements of her cultural roots, including the Joselito Carnaval figure and the cayena flower. The collection features a top and short skirt with three-dimensional floral effects, a long dress with ruffles to mimic the energy of the carnival, and a third piece combining ruffles and flowers to represent rebirth and joy.
